While searching for a Mexican restaurant, we came upon this little gem. From the outside you wouldn’t think much of it, but the food and service was great! Daniela was our server. She was so friendly & nice & made us feel welcome. I got the fajita burrito - it was huge & full of flavor. My husband really enjoyed the tacos, too!

Me & my wife came here after going to the gym. They gave us chips salsa and refried beans almost immediately. The chips were hot and crispy. The salsa was flavor and the the refried beans were creamy and tasty. I ordered a burrito with steak, chicken, shrimp, grilled veggies and some kind of sauce on the inside. It was covered in cheese sauce. It came with rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. The burrito was huge and packed with fresh ingredients and well seasoned. My wife got a steak enchilada plate with rice and refried beans. She loved all of it . The portions were huge so we took the rest home. We will definitely be back!

This is a wonderful place to eat. I love Spanish, food and so does my family. The staff is very friendly, prompt & personable. I also see a lot of the same people every time that we come to this place, which is a great sign that there’s not constantly new staff. The food is amazing, absolutely amazing! We eat here all the time. That’s one of the things that I love is that it’s so consistent, reasonably priced with specials just about every time that we’ve came here. The margaritas are awesome. Just a wonderful place, we have been 101% happy every time we have been here.

Our first time there, he ordered the California burrito and I had the Super Chimichanga . Both were excellent as were the warm nachos. Great sweet tea and I had a wonderful Horchata too. Then for dessert we had churros so tasty and all for under 40 until we added the tip. Why go to Charlotte or Gastonia when you can get great Mexican food in Belmont.

Found this eatery while dispatching out of the Mount Holly terminal. I walked in and found it to be clean and welcoming. I saw several laborers in the dining area, which is an automatic good omen. I saw several interesting items on the menu and decided to go with the Birria. In speaking with my waiter, I found the owners were from my home state of Jalisco. The preliminary chips were complimented with sole very tasty salsa and refried beanz. I opted for the agua de jamaica for my drink. The jamaica was flavorful and sweetened perfectly. The Birria was tender and seasoned well. The handmade flour tortillas were fresh and soft. Overall, it was an outstanding meal. I look forward to trying more menu items the next time I'm in the area. If you're looking for the real deal in Mexican cuisine, try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Bueno! You arrive to a spacious gravel parking lot next to the road. A brightly painted building in the colors of the Mexican flag is clean and well maintained. Greeted immediately at the door by a smiling face and welcoming voice, “Sit anywhere you’ld like.” Establishing our place at a cozy booth, I head to the clean and welcoming restroom to wash my hands. Our server Brittany, cheerfully takes our orders, vegetarian #1and #2, combo platters. While we wait, tortilla chips, refried beans and salsa are served complimentary. The food arrives hot and fresh, in no time. The prices are amazing. 10 for each combo plate. We are 5 star happy!! Thank you Casa Vieja! Don’t ever change

Great place! Don't let the outside fool you...Inside the service and food is awesome! Lastly, the prices are very reasonable. Parking lot was full but still plenty of seating.
